MTCY BODYWEIGHT (Movement to Celebrate YOU) 60 MIN

This class begins with a short talk on body image related issues. The aim is for it to be empowering and motivating. To help you realise that your body is not the problem and to enable you to be present and confident for the upcoming session.

We then move on to a warm up and dance cardio with fun moves – no burpees! There will be variations offered and if you want to do your own version that is fine too. I always urge you to go at your own pace. We are moving for fun and celebration – not punishment! There are usually around 11 tracks in total, ending with core work and a cool down. Then we move on to the relaxation – meditation and / or visualisation.

All enabling you to walk away with a smile on your face and feeling at peace with your body.

MTCY KETTLEBELL (Movement to Celebrate YOU) 60 MIN

This is very similar to above but for the fun HIIT moves we do that with a kettlebell. Again variations are offered and I always urge you to go at your own pace.

BURLEXERCISE | ONLINE (60 MIN) AND IN PERSON (45 MIN)

Burlexercise is a medium – high intensity fitness class designed specifically for an all over body workout, incorporating token showgirl elements. This is Burlesque dancing and exercise! The focus, as always, is to have fun and feel good. This class is full of sass and enables you to bring out your confident, sexy self.

There is resistance training and light weights are optional but recommended.

This is offered both online (1 hr, includes meditation) and in person (45 mins), in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

CELEBRATION AND MEDITATION 60 MIN

This is a 30 minute celebration and a 30 minute meditation! Fun dance moves and silliness ending with an extended meditation / visualisation. Allowing you to be completely present and relaxed and to walk away feeling at peace with your body and a smile on your face!

SHORT CELEBRATION 30 MIN

This is a short Celebration of you. Involves a quick full body workout (with a cool down and stretch at the end) Lots of fun tunes and sass – as always! Fun dance cardio moves – low – medium impact.

BODY IMAGE SUPPORT GROUP 60 MIN

This is a monthly Body Image support group where we get together and talk about any body image struggles we may have with like – minded people.

We will meet monthly for 1 hour. Everyone in the group will have the opportunity to talk or you can just listen, totally up to you.

It is completely informal, so pour some wine if you fancy it, sit in your pjs, and let’s chat.

YOGA WITH GILLIAN DODD; YOGA FOR THE BODY YOU’RE IN (MEMBER EXCLUSIVE) 60 MIN

Wind down with Yoga

In this evening class you are invited to let the day slip away and let go of stress, tension and fatigue. The class begins with some time to settle with mindful practices to relax the body and calm the mind. 

Gillian is a fan of Somatic and Yin Yoga and incorporates these postures and embodied practices into her evening classes. The emphasis is always to make friends with the body you’re in. Expect to stretch out your body and then to relax down to the floor for a deep relaxation. Everyone’s favourite! 

Have a blanket or two ready, an eye pillow, just what you need to help to create the conditions in your space at home as you rest, relax and restore.

Wake up to Yoga

Your morning Yoga class starts with a short morning meditation to settle the mind ready for some stretching of the body. 

You are invited to make friends with your breathing, mind, and subtle body. Gillian will give you cues and modifications of some of the classic Hatha Yoga postures to enable you to practice this gentler style of Yoga at your own pace.

Expect to feel calm and relaxed yet energised as you increase your flexibility and set yourself up for the day. Perfect for beginners to Yoga as well as those who have practiced Yoga previously. Start where you are and experience the benefits of Yoga.

TRUST YOUR CHOICES – INTUITIVE EATING 11 WEEK COURSE 60 MIN

Run by Ela Law – Nutristionist and Intuitive Eating Counsellor

This is an 11 week course that goes over the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating, with an extra session at the end to discuss, share and ask questions.

All sessions are weekly, each Wednesday, for 1 hour and will be held over Zoom at 7:30pm GMT. The sessions are laid back, sit in your pjs if you want! The session will start with 30 minutes of information focusing on the specific principle, and then there will be an oppurtunity for discussion and Q and As for 30 minutes.

If you can not make the lives then the first 30 minutes will be available shortly after as a recording – exclusively for members.
