FAQ

Q – Do we book onto classes in advance, or can we just book on the day?

You can book and make any amendments to bookings up to 2 hours before the class starts.

Q – Is the subscription one month at a time, i.e, can I stop (or upgrade) at the months end.

It is one month at a time, so you can adjust at the end of the month period to whatever suits you. It is 20% cheaper to book 12 months at once though, this will be adjustable at the end of the 12 month period.

Q – Will there ever be any mention of weight loss?

No. The only time you will ever hear any Body Image Professional talk about intentional weight loss or diets is when we are smashing diet culture to bits. This is a safe space away from that world. Here we focus on celebrating our here and now bodies. You can learn more about our approach here>>

Absolutely amazing! The website is fantastic and I love my subscription. The prerecorded classes are so helpful on busy days but I love the Movement to Celebrate You live classes the most. The mindfulness is great but it’s Kim’s energy that brings something to the class that I’ve never experienced before in other live classes provided elsewhere. She paces the class and sees how people are doing and provides supportive comments throughout. The humour and music is great and I couldn’t be more grateful. I also like the podcasts and intuitive eating sessions. It’s so inclusive and holistic! Can’t recommend enough.

What is HAES, and why does the world need a HAES Fitness Membership?

When someone says they want to lose weight, they actually mean they want to feel better about how they look. So then why are we told to ignore our feelings in the pursuit of that goal?

We are told to ignore feelings of hunger, shame, guilt, feelings of enjoyment, of pleasure, need I go on? We are told to ignore all that because the premise is, if you “look better” you will feel better.
